Journey world · Field guide
Sylvara
Tall trees surround roads that seem to go on forever.
The road bends because the tree was here first.

History
Sylvara’s long roads began as narrow routes between forest clearings, adjusted every year around young trees. When traffic increased, the communities kept those wandering lines instead of straightening them, creating a road network measured in familiar trees rather than milestones.
Economy
Foresters harvest fallen timber and run nurseries that supply replacement trees to other worlds. Small roadside inns, bicycle makers, and restoration garages share visitor income with crews who maintain root-friendly road foundations.
Rainbow Road IAS
Joined in Show Year 6 · The New Leaf Canopy. The Understory Drive joined the tour as a slow forest passage, its first convoy stopping often enough to become a traveling picnic between the clearings.
A fictional calendar kept by the Rainbow Road IAS. Year 1 begins with the first passage through the sandcastle on the beach in 1999; years count completed journeys inside its pocket of eternity, not elapsed Earth years. Local seasons identify each world’s first gathering. These histories belong to Leonida Larry’s imagined multiverse.

A moment on the road
“We are taking the bend around the old tree. It has been waiting here far longer than this road.”
In this galaxy · The road we move
A living root crosses the planned route. The company moves the road and finds a better gathering place beside the trees.
The old route has become a garden. Roots lift its paving stones and new leaves lean into the space where the map says the convoy should pass. Patricia kneels beside the youngest growth. Starlite waits for her decision.
They take the longer way around. Iridella crosses out a neat line in the atlas and draws a generous curve. The map is more truthful with the correction. A living world is allowed to change the road that visits it.
