Journey world · Field guide
Sky Foundry
An elevated port serves travelers arriving from neighboring worlds.
Somewhere along the platform there is a berth that fits.

History
The elevated port began as a loading platform above a fogbound industrial valley. Successive arrivals brought different docking requirements, so its builders standardized the connection between platform sections while leaving the outer berths free to take almost any shape.
Economy
Sky Foundry manufactures adaptable docking collars and earns fees from freight transfers and vehicle servicing. Its crews buy supplies collectively and keep a reserve berth available for travelers who need repairs before they can pay.
Rainbow Road IAS
Joined in Show Year 10 · The High Clear Air. The Open Berth Assembly joined the tour as its first full-service sky port, linking the show’s metal-world workshops to the coastal routes of Leonida Prime.
A fictional calendar kept by the Rainbow Road IAS. Year 1 begins with the first passage through the sandcastle on the beach in 1999; years count completed journeys inside its pocket of eternity, not elapsed Earth years. Local seasons identify each world’s first gathering. These histories belong to Leonida Larry’s imagined multiverse.

A moment on the road
“There is a berth somewhere on this platform for every strange arrival. We will find ours.”
In this galaxy · The things we make together
Garlicia’s mechanics repair a damaged panel while grumbling through every compliment. Iridella learns the sound of a workshop that cares too much to let a poor repair leave.
Garlicia catches the gathering in a hundred curved reflections. At first every polished panel seems to insist on being the center. Then the makers begin comparing their work: a join, an improvised bracket, a surface patiently brought back to life.
Chromey turns a mirror toward the whole court. The image is untidy and full of people, exactly as a gathering should be. Iridella keeps that view. The road is becoming something they make together, one useful contribution at a time.
