Narrow bridges span deep orange-lit volcanic canyons.
The narrow bridge widens just where you need to stop.

History
Scoria’s canyon communities once relied on long detours around the glowing depths. Their first lightweight bridge used porous volcanic stone inside a tension frame, and every later crossing kept a small public alcove for travelers to rest without blocking freight.
Economy
Bridge cooperatives manufacture light aggregate panels and inspect suspended structures throughout the Ember Rift. Canyon greenhouses use carefully regulated warmth, trading their vegetables for cables and precision fasteners.
Rainbow Road IAS
Joined in Show Year 18 · The Bridge Inspection Season. The Span-to-Span Show joined the tour when ten bridge towns shared a single exhibition, hosting a few cars each so no crossing carried excessive weight.
A fictional calendar kept by the Rainbow Road IAS. Year 1 begins with the first passage through the sandcastle on the beach in 1999; years count completed journeys inside its pocket of eternity, not elapsed Earth years. Local seasons identify each world’s first gathering. These histories belong to Leonida Larry’s imagined multiverse.

A moment on the road
“The bridge gives us a little extra width at the overlook. Its builders understood stopping.”
In this galaxy · The repair that carries us
A useful imperfect repair gets the company moving again. Beneath the hot sky, the exhibition becomes a workshop where help matters more than polish.
A warm metallic rattle follows them into the workshop court. Nobody pretends it is music. The convoy stops, opens its tool rolls, and makes room for a repair. Iridella holds the lamp; its colors look almost ordinary beside the furnace.
When they depart, the repaired piece still shows the mark of the work. Starlite declines an offer to polish it away. That small seam belongs in the photograph too. Their atlas begins to hold evidence of care, not only flawless arrivals.
