The skyline is there; wait for the air to soften.

History
The first observatory here mistook the rust-colored air for a storm that never ended. Later settlers learned to read subtle clear bands within it and built low skylights that admit those brief views of the distant skyline.
Economy
Atmospheric specialists export dust filters and visibility instruments calibrated for difficult light. Enclosed gardens supply the settlements, while repair shops recover fine iron-rich dust from their filter cartridges for small casting workshops.
Rainbow Road IAS
Joined in Show Year 26 · The Clear Band. The Rustlight Arrival joined the tour after its navigators used local visibility charts to reach a sheltered plaza during a rare transparent evening.
A fictional calendar kept by the Rainbow Road IAS. Year 1 begins with the first passage through the sandcastle on the beach in 1999; years count completed journeys inside its pocket of eternity, not elapsed Earth years. Local seasons identify each world’s first gathering. These histories belong to Leonida Larry’s imagined multiverse.

In this galaxy · The repair that carries us
A useful imperfect repair gets the company moving again. Beneath the hot sky, the exhibition becomes a workshop where help matters more than polish.
A warm metallic rattle follows them into the workshop court. Nobody pretends it is music. The convoy stops, opens its tool rolls, and makes room for a repair. Iridella holds the lamp; its colors look almost ordinary beside the furnace.
When they depart, the repaired piece still shows the mark of the work. Starlite declines an offer to polish it away. That small seam belongs in the photograph too. Their atlas begins to hold evidence of care, not only flawless arrivals.
