History
Rainhaven grew around covered courtyards where travelers could dry their coats without blocking the street. As the town expanded, builders linked the roofs to a common water system, transforming nearly constant rain from a nuisance into its most dependable resource.
Economy
The city exports water filters, drain fittings, and coatings tested under real rainfall. Covered markets support tailors and repairers who favor mending waterproof goods over replacing them each season.
Rainbow Road IAS
Joined in Show Year 18 · The Soft Rain Festival. The Reflections Motor Salon entered the tour with a slow evening circuit whose polished cars doubled in the wet pavement.
A fictional calendar kept by the Rainbow Road IAS. Year 1 begins with the first passage through the sandcastle on the beach in 1999; years count completed journeys inside its pocket of eternity, not elapsed Earth years. Local seasons identify each world’s first gathering. These histories belong to Leonida Larry’s imagined multiverse.

A moment on the road
“Look at Starlite’s reflection in the street. Rainhaven has given us a second arrival.”
In this galaxy · The passage we share
A duck-built ferry takes the smallest vehicles while the tide reveals the submerged showground. The company discovers that safe passage means making a route for everyone.
At the water’s edge the convoy discovers that the crossing is too narrow for everyone to rush aboard. A little duck-shaped ferry keeps returning for the smallest travelers. Starlite waits with his wheels above the tide while Iridella helps arrange the queue.
The waves erase every tire mark on the beach. The crossing remains because someone comes back for the next passenger. Iridella draws the ferry into the atlas before she draws the palace; a world is remembered by its kindness as much as by its grandest building.
