Obsidara
Black volcanic glass turns the horizon into a broken mirror.
The safe road is the one that refuses to shine.

History
A broad sheet of volcanic glass once reflected so many false routes that newcomers repeatedly circled the same ridge. Residents roughened a single reliable road and built low shade walls, leaving the mirror landscape intact beyond the crossing.
Economy
Glass workers salvage naturally fractured obsidian for precision scrapers, dark tiles, and decorative inlays. Survey crews sell glare-control designs to other worlds, using those earnings to keep public routes clearly visible.
Rainbow Road IAS
Joined in Show Year 11 · The Low Glare Season. The Dark Mirror Salon marked its first tour visit, with each car displayed beside a roughened walking strip and its broken reflection.
A fictional calendar kept by the Rainbow Road IAS. Year 1 begins with the first passage through the sandcastle on the beach in 1999; years count completed journeys inside its pocket of eternity, not elapsed Earth years. Local seasons identify each world’s first gathering. These histories belong to Leonida Larry’s imagined multiverse.

A moment on the road
“Choose the matte road with me. The most convincing reflection is not always the safest passage.”
In this galaxy · The repair that carries us
A useful imperfect repair gets the company moving again. Beneath the hot sky, the exhibition becomes a workshop where help matters more than polish.
A warm metallic rattle follows them into the workshop court. Nobody pretends it is music. The convoy stops, opens its tool rolls, and makes room for a repair. Iridella holds the lamp; its colors look almost ordinary beside the furnace.
When they depart, the repaired piece still shows the mark of the work. Starlite declines an offer to polish it away. That small seam belongs in the photograph too. Their atlas begins to hold evidence of care, not only flawless arrivals.
