History
Neon Mile began as a row of all-night repair shops serving travelers who arrived after ordinary markets closed. Each workshop used a different sign color, and the shared practice grew into a civic address system reflected in the frequently wet streets.
Economy
The district specializes in electrical repair, efficient sign lighting, and late-hour hospitality. Shops pool the cost of covered loading bays and public transport so night workers can finish a shift without needing a car of their own.

A fictional calendar kept by the Rainbow Road IAS. Year 1 begins with the first passage through the sandcastle on the beach in 1999; years count completed journeys inside its pocket of eternity, not elapsed Earth years. Local seasons identify each world’s first gathering. These histories belong to Leonida Larry’s imagined multiverse.

A moment on the road
“That blue reflection means the electrician is still awake. Neon Mile’s beauty has people behind it.”
In this galaxy · The joy we keep
Twuck takes a miniature orange track through a passage too small for the convoy. His return reminds the travelers that play can discover something serious planning missed.
Twuck disappears beneath a streamer and reappears at the head of a tiny parade. The serious route briefing dissolves into laughter. Iridella folds the map for a while; the next gateway will still be there after the celebration.
They collect no grand revelation in the plaza. They share a bright, unnecessary afternoon. Later, when the journey asks more of them, Starlite will remember this sound: little wheels, fluttering ribbons, and a gathering happy simply to have arrived.
