History
The drag strip began as a straight testing road for heat-resistant tires above an old lava field. Once the engineers had mapped the shifting surface, local clubs added viewing shelters and a strict inspection schedule, turning the test route into a communal sporting ground.
Economy
Tire makers and cooling-system workshops rent measured testing sessions on the strip. Event income supports surface inspections, public transport to the stands, and training places for young mechanics.
Rainbow Road IAS
Joined in Show Year 12 · The Cool Track Window. The First Radiant Mile joined the tour as a demonstration day, with cars judged for reliable cooling and careful preparation as well as speed.
A fictional calendar kept by the Rainbow Road IAS. Year 1 begins with the first passage through the sandcastle on the beach in 1999; years count completed journeys inside its pocket of eternity, not elapsed Earth years. Local seasons identify each world’s first gathering. These histories belong to Leonida Larry’s imagined multiverse.

A moment on the road
“We are stopping before the starting lights. The shimmer over the track has something to tell us.”
In this galaxy · The repair that carries us
A useful imperfect repair gets the company moving again. Beneath the hot sky, the exhibition becomes a workshop where help matters more than polish.
A warm metallic rattle follows them into the workshop court. Nobody pretends it is music. The convoy stops, opens its tool rolls, and makes room for a repair. Iridella holds the lamp; its colors look almost ordinary beside the furnace.
When they depart, the repaired piece still shows the mark of the work. Starlite declines an offer to polish it away. That small seam belongs in the photograph too. Their atlas begins to hold evidence of care, not only flawless arrivals.
