History
Azure Drift’s harbor rose with a migrating current and never quite settled back onto the sea. Its residents adapted by fitting flexible gangways and building cranes that can transfer cargo between boats below and airborne platforms above.
Economy
The port earns its living transferring freight between incompatible vehicles and maintaining adjustable docking equipment. Market gardeners use the harbor’s moist air, trading fresh vegetables for the heavy materials that cannot be produced aloft.

Joined in Show Year 19 · The Harbor Ascent. The Two-Level Arrival brought the tour aboard from both sea and sky, inaugurating its first official transfer point between the Tidal Expanse and the Silver Assembly.
A fictional calendar kept by the Rainbow Road IAS. Year 1 begins with the first passage through the sandcastle on the beach in 1999; years count completed journeys inside its pocket of eternity, not elapsed Earth years. Local seasons identify each world’s first gathering. These histories belong to Leonida Larry’s imagined multiverse.

A moment on the road
“The harbor master will ask our altitude. I promised Starlite I would let him answer.”
In this galaxy · The passage we share
A duck-built ferry takes the smallest vehicles while the tide reveals the submerged showground. The company discovers that safe passage means making a route for everyone.
At the water’s edge the convoy discovers that the crossing is too narrow for everyone to rush aboard. A little duck-shaped ferry keeps returning for the smallest travelers. Starlite waits with his wheels above the tide while Iridella helps arrange the queue.
The waves erase every tire mark on the beach. The crossing remains because someone comes back for the next passenger. Iridella draws the ferry into the atlas before she draws the palace; a world is remembered by its kindness as much as by its grandest building.
