History
The silver routes began as narrow freight rails connecting workshops through persistent mist. When residents added quiet passenger carriages, stations became the centers of new towns, each built close enough that ordinary errands required no private vehicle.
Economy
Rail cooperatives carry freight and passengers on a common timetable, selling spare capacity rather than building competing routes. Precision rail makers export durable joints and recovery equipment, with part of each contract funding accessible station platforms.
Rainbow Road IAS
Joined in Show Year 14 · The Long Visibility Morning. The Station-to-Station Gallery welcomed the tour aboard flatbed carriages, letting visitors examine its cars while riding between the silver towns.
A fictional calendar kept by the Rainbow Road IAS. Year 1 begins with the first passage through the sandcastle on the beach in 1999; years count completed journeys inside its pocket of eternity, not elapsed Earth years. Local seasons identify each world’s first gathering. These histories belong to Leonida Larry’s imagined multiverse.

Garlicia’s mechanics repair a damaged panel while grumbling through every compliment. Iridella learns the sound of a workshop that cares too much to let a poor repair leave.
Garlicia catches the gathering in a hundred curved reflections. At first every polished panel seems to insist on being the center. Then the makers begin comparing their work: a join, an improvised bracket, a surface patiently brought back to life.
Chromey turns a mirror toward the whole court. The image is untidy and full of people, exactly as a gathering should be. Iridella keeps that view. The road is becoming something they make together, one useful contribution at a time.
