Amethyst Reach
Violet mineral spires rise above roads cut through luminous caverns.
Turn off the headlights once; the walls remember light.

History
Its first roads were tunnels cut by mineral surveyors following the hum of violet crystal. When the surface spires began transmitting that same note, the tunnel settlements built open-air listening terraces and agreed to leave the oldest formations uncut.
Economy
Workshops grow small replacement crystals for navigation instruments and polish offcuts into headlamp lenses. Guided cavern drives fund the public roads, while a cooperative limits extraction to keep the natural resonators intact.
Rainbow Road IAS
Joined in Show Year 3 · The Low Violet Sun. The Cavern Lantern Run welcomed the tour after its navigators used an Amethyst tuning crystal to find the return passage to the castle.
A fictional calendar kept by the Rainbow Road IAS. Year 1 begins with the first passage through the sandcastle on the beach in 1999; years count completed journeys inside its pocket of eternity, not elapsed Earth years. Local seasons identify each world’s first gathering. These histories belong to Leonida Larry’s imagined multiverse.

A moment on the road
“Switch off the headlights with me; the amethyst has been keeping a little light for our arrival.”
In this galaxy · The light we notice
Timothy asks the convoy to switch off its headlights at The Resonant Keep. The crystals return their remembered glow, and Iridella asks which detail you saw first.
For a moment the road disappears. Starlite keeps his engine quiet, and a violet line gathers in the crystal above his windscreen. It is not a sign telling them where to go. It is the reflection of the passage they have already taken. Iridella opens the atlas and leaves a little space beside the drawing.
The visitor chooses a detail to carry onward: a cut in the stone, a pool of light, the shape of a waiting car. The first stamp settles into place. The keep does not become brighter. They have learned how to see it.
