History
Aeris Garden began when a mist-fed orchard lifted gently above the hill where it had been planted. Gardeners followed with light platforms and discovered that careful pruning and balanced reservoirs could keep whole terraces hanging steadily in the open air.
Economy
Root tenders grow mist-adapted fruit and cultivate nursery plants for lightweight rooftop gardens. Suspension specialists maintain platforms on subscription, using pooled fees to inspect every public walkway before servicing private ornamental terraces.
Rainbow Road IAS
Joined in Show Year 22 · The Root Mist Season. The Hanging Orchard Show joined the tour when gardeners placed a few cars on independently balanced terraces and connected them with narrow viewing walks.
A fictional calendar kept by the Rainbow Road IAS. Year 1 begins with the first passage through the sandcastle on the beach in 1999; years count completed journeys inside its pocket of eternity, not elapsed Earth years. Local seasons identify each world’s first gathering. These histories belong to Leonida Larry’s imagined multiverse.

They take the longer way around. Iridella crosses out a neat line in the atlas and draws a generous curve. The map is more truthful with the correction. A living world is allowed to change the road that visits it.
