Murky Dismal
Miles LaPolla
Keeper of the still places
A place in the story
Murky Dismal tends The Gloaming, preserving things he fears time might take away. His temptation is to keep every scene unchanged; his journey is learning that a memory can survive being carried forward. His optional shadow detour changes the atmosphere without taking away the road.
