The Reservoir Crown

The Reservoir Crown’s sandy towers encircle open courtyards beneath carefully anchored water spheres. Its lens workshop and roofless display court honor the sphere keepers who cooled the cars at the Pearl Canopy Show. Welcome to Pearlwater. A milky blue sky holds anchored spheres of water above sandy courts, planted channels, and low hills seen through enormous liquid lenses. Your car sits in the roofless display court, a hovering sphere magnifying its reflection while rippled highlights dance over the paint. Local advice: Do not ask whether it might rain. A local weather report can be the size of a house and hovering directly overhead.
