The Patient Foundation
The Patient Foundation rests its compacted-sand towers on broad thermal footings above the ice. Its test-street garages remember Cryostone’s Steady Ground Concourse of Year 24 and the builders who learn from long observation. Welcome to Cryostone. A cold blue sky clears over dark stone shelves, thick ice seams, and carefully monitored test streets on thermal foundations. Photograph your car on the steady garage apron, rough rock close to the wheels and translucent ice layers forming the distant landscape. Local advice: The foundations have excellent patience. Visitors are encouraged to develop some while the engineers finish explaining why the ground stays put.
